Our environement is our new science topic. We will first learn about biomes and research the different biomes of the world. Then we will be looking at how plant life is affected by environment by planning and planting our own gardens. Then we will study the behavior of beetles and isopods in different environments learning about the concept of optimal environmental conditions. Goldfish will also be making an appearance in this unit. If the goldfish are still alive at the end of the year, students will be asked to take them home as pets with their parent's permission.
